Being Queensland, ticks show up a lot. I’m fortunate enough to be in the State Emergency Service and my Go Bag sports some good Survival FirstAid Products. One handy piece of kit is the Tick Removal Spoon.
I have been on a few Searches for Missing People and we are constantly checking ourselves over for ticks after a day in the bush.
The Tick Removal Spoon lives in my Survival belt pouch strapped to the side of the bag. Now I am able to provide assistance to my team and have had to do so when a tick was found on one of our members.
I will absolutely continue to use Survival FirstAid products in the future.

Just after receiving the tick removal spoon it was put to use straight away. While hiking in a National Park, my husband and I both had paralysis ticks drop on us. Even though they were only nymphs, I cannot begin to tell you what a relief it was to be able to remove them easily with the tick removal spoon. Then a few days later, perhaps it had been on my clothing another needed to be removed. I love to hike, but my inner princess is revolted by ticks! It's comforting to know now how effective the tick removal spoon is! It is a staple in my hiking kit now!

I got a tick on a recent camping trip. Luckily our companions had one of these and it easily removed all of it. I have now got one in each of my cars, just incase.
